It's Australia Day! And for the holiday, we're having a BBQ to do some fundraising for MSF and their Haiti campaign.  The fridge is full, the BBQ is on (well, ready anyway!) and the friends will soon be on their way, have a great day everyone, might have some photos to post tonight!!

Fantasy Heart Journal

I'm learning how to make fabric paper and have made this journal which is now for sale in my Etsy shop...you layer fabric and paper and tissue paper with a glue mixture, and paint and then sew (after it's dried of course!! :P)  Am working on some 'Woodland' coasters this afternoon, in between cooking and tidying the space that I believe was once my house!!!!  Have a great afternoon, everyone!!

After some very damp nights with our recycled cork coasters, I'm working on some denim ones that I hope will absorb more of the condensation - this time of year is so ...summer!!! I'm going to put some up in my Etsy shop in the next couple of days, but ones for home first!! What do you think?

I've just got a new embossing folder for my Cuttlebug, and used it to make this card...simple but quite cute I thought! I've been making flowers using old sheet music... I'll post some photos soon! :)

Craft afternoon

So my friend Pita just told me that I don't need to post photos all the time - just need to keep up to date on what's going on, so OK...Our craft afternoon (as pictured) was fantastic!! What a wonderful bunch of women I am blessed to be able to call my friends!! We made cards and chatted and ate and chatted...and well, you get the idea!!

I'm thinking of making some laptop bags out of the felt I showed you last week, any comments or ideas? Knowing me they will have flowers etc on them! I know that I need one and thought that others might too. Let me know, and I will follow up with photos, I promise!!

Workshop Space!!

I've finally moved my workspace to what we call "The Cottage" and am very excited!! There's heaps more room for people to work in and workshops and classes will be a breeze from now on. I am having some friends over this afternoon to give it a test run. Here's a couple of photos to show you my progress.
